What Does Your Hair Know, That You Don't Know?

I've been receiving questions about the benefits of hair analysis. Let's go over the benefits of having a hair analysis done. Hair, like all other body tissues, contains minerals that are deposited as the hair grows. Although the hair is dead, the minerals remain as the hair continues to grow out. A sample of hair cut close to the scalp provides information about the mineral activity in the hair that took place over the past three to four months, depending on the rate of hair growth.

Have you ever been to a medical doctor with persistent health symptoms, but the doctor can't find anything wrong and all the expensive lab tests merely determine nothing is there?

YOU know something is wrong though, because you are on the receiving end of the pounding headaches, the uncontrollable twitches in your arms and legs followed by shooting pains. YOU are the one who cannot get a good night's sleep. YOU know you are experiencing heart palpitations, dizziness, and blurred vision. And YOU are tired of STRESS as the blame. For the same reason they don’t recommend saliva testing…they simply aren’t trained to do so in medical school, and most medical doctors aren’t open minded enough to learn about these tests and incorporate them into their practice.  Most never read the research, and they just conclude on their own that these tests are invalid.

Well, your body can tell you what traditional medicine cannot…but you have to pay attention to what it's trying to translate using those disturbing health symptoms. Two ways to understand your body's “cries for help” are to remove ALL foreign, man-made food chemicals from your diet, clean-up your outside environment, and get a hair analysis to determine what's going on inside of you.

A hair tissue mineral analysis can provide pertinent information about one's metabolic rate, energy levels, sugar and carbohydrate tolerance, stage of stress, immune system and glandular activity.

Humans are exposed to chemicals daily. And, this doesn't take into account the abundant environmental toxins we are exposed to. The hair analysis is an excellent tool to identify specifically which toxins are inside your body and what vitamins and minerals they may have depleted.

A hair analysis mineral test reveals your mineral deficiencies and heavy metal toxicity. But many people don’t realize that it also provides a blueprint to increase your performance, banish brain fog, and improve energy.

Hair mineral analysis reveals and explains the causes of many health symptoms and disease, whose underlying causes are largely related to nutritional deficiencies, mineral imbalances and heavy metal and chemical toxicity.

Hair mineral analyses are screening tests only and do not diagnose disease.

However, a properly interpreted hair analysis can reveal various mineral imbalances that indicate a tendency for various conditions. A hair mineral analysis provides a picture of body chemistry including:

Heavy Metal Toxicity

Mineral Deficiencies and Imbalances

Metabolic Rate (fast or slow)

Adrenal Fatigue

Thyroid Function

Nervous System Imbalances

Protein Synthesis

Inflammation

Energy Levels

Mental Health Issues

Liver & Kidney Stress

Carbohydrate Tolerance & Blood Sugar Imbalances like Diabetes and Insulin resistance

The hair analysis graph shows the following nutrient minerals: calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron, copper, manganese, zinc, chromium, selenium and more. These minerals are necessary for proper functioning of the organs and tissues of the body, but can also metastasize (store in organs where they’re not supposed to be) and prevent proper function. Many minerals need to be replenished, while some forms of minerals need to be detoxed if they are forms the body cannot utilize.

COMMON CAUSES OF MINERAL IMBALANCES

Many factors contribute to mineral deficiencies and imbalances. Here are only a few:

Stress depletes minerals from the body, most notably magnesium and zinc.

Toxic Metals and Chemicals. They can replace minerals at enzyme binding sites and interfere with mineral absorption. Chronic viral and bacterial infections are subtle stressors on the body, depleting minerals. Many suffer from gut dysbiosis, Lyme and many other low-grade chronic infections.

Toxic Food Supply. Our food and soils are depleted of minerals, which is why everyone needs nutritional supplements. Hybrid crops, fertilizers, refined foods, pesticides, food additives and more, all contribute to a nutritionally depleted and toxic food supply.

Drinking Water. Tap water is not safe due to added chlorine, aluminum, fluoride and sometimes copper, which cause toxicity or displace other minerals.

Unhealthy lifestyles. Many individuals do not get enough sleep, don’t exercise enough (or too much) or have other unhealthy lifestyle habits.

The hair tissue mineral analysis performed in our office is a screening test for the level of 20 minerals and toxic metals in a sample of hair. It is a tissue mineral biopsy that is non-invasive, relatively inexpensive and extremely accurate.

I can provide you with targeted nutrient therapy, detox protocols like infrared saunas, ion detox foot baths, coffee enemas, and lifestyle recommendations. It is a powerful program proven to assist the body in reversing disease and improve health symptoms.

One of the great benefits of a hair mineral analysis test is that it is noninvasive.  It just involves a small hair sample, and so it can easily be obtained from most people, even children.  In addition to this test being noninvasive, it also is relatively inexpensive as well when compared to other types of tests.

If you’re interested in getting a hair mineral analysis, call our office. With this test you can begin your healing journey. You can naturally improve your performance, vitality, energy and mental clarity.
